Here is a wonderful dessert from Master Chef Robert Sturm for anyone that needs an indulgent break from your New Year’s resolution diet. Just be careful; it can be very tempting to keep making more.

Häagen-Dazs Vanilla and Chocolate Mudslide Pie
Serves: 1 – 2
Ingredients:
1 Slice Vanilla Mudslide Pie
1 Slice Coffee Mudslide Pie
Honey
Whipped Cream
Rose Petals, Chiffonade
Toasted Crepe Strips
As Needed:
Balsamic Syrup (recipe)
Chocolate Sauce (recipe)
Carmel Peanut Butter Sauce (recipe)
Melba Sauce (recipe)
Procedure:
1. All sauces are best used in plastic bottles with pointed squeeze top. Criss-Cross a Square Pattern on your plate using the Balsamic Syrup. Fill In the Squares with your different sauces.
2. Place the two slices of Häagen-Dazs Mudslide Pie on the plate as shown in the photograph.
3. Decorate with whipped cream. Crown with sugar decoration, using whip cream as anchor.
4. Decorate plate with rose petals, and toasted crepe strips.
