Summer is the perfect season for Tequila (and National Tequila Day is 7/24). So to help you savory the long, warm days, here are a couple cocktail recipes featuring Blue Nectar Tequila in re-imagined seasonal classics.

While the Blackberry Bramble is traditionally made with gin, bourbon is often used instead for a deeper flavor. Blue Nectar Reposado is the perfect alternative with its smooth, light oak wood character.

Blackberry Blue Nectar® Bramble
Blue Nectar Bramble

2 oz. Blue Nectar Reposado
¾ oz. lemon juice
1 tsp. simple syrup
½ oz. blackberry liqueur
3-5 blackberries as garnish
Crushed ice

Place all liquid ingredients into a tumbler filled with crushed ice and stir well. Garnish with blackberries.

The Moscow Mule is a refreshing vodka cocktail, though the peppery notes of Blue Nectar Silver make a perfect complement to the spicy ginger beer and smoky Mezcal float.

2 oz. Blue Nectar Silver Tequila
½ oz. fresh lime juice
2 oz. ginger beer
Mezcal float
5 mint leaves for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add Blue Nectar® Silver Tequila and lime juice and shake well; pour in to a highball glass, top with ginger beer, and float the mezcal. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
