The Big Game is just a week away, and football fans everywhere are getting ready to cheer on their favorite teams. If you’re throwing a party at home, these recipes for easy, handcrafted cocktails will have you scoring a winning touchdown with guests.

Pass Rush
Dominick Purnomo, D.P. An American Brasserie, Albany, NY

  • 2 oz Soltado Spicy Añejo Tequila
  • .75 oz Triple Sec
  • .75 oz Lemon Juice
  • Brown Sugar Rim
  • Lemon peel dropped in drink

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a brown sugar rimmed glass. Garnish with lemon peel.


Sweet Victory
Casey Patrick O’Mara, Ox & Stone, Rochester, NY

  • 1.5 Soltado Spicy Añejo Tequila
  • 1oz pineapple
  • .25 lemon
  • .25 simple syrup
  • .25 banana liqueur
  • .25 Amaro Montenegro
  • 2 dash angostura bitters

Shake with ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with pineapple.


The Returner
Liam Wager, Grape & Vine

  • 1 oz Soltado Spicy Añejo Tequila
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Lillet Blanc
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • Dash of absinthe

Combine in a shaker with ice. Shake, strain into a coupe glass.

Kourtney Wenke, Butapub

  • 6 Thai basil leaves, muddled
  • .5 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz Soltado Spicy Añejo Tequila
  • .5 oz Cointreau
  • .5 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 1.5 oz Cucumber juice
  • .5 oz lime juice

Muddle the basil. Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass.

  • 6oz pineapple juice
  • 1.5 oz Soltado Spicy Añejo Tequila
  • 1 oz dry orange liqueur
  • juice of ½ lime
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • Rim: cinnamon and sugar
  • Garnish: pineapple

Rim the glass, set aside. Shake all ingredients with ice, pour into rimmed glass. Garnish.
