Sunrise In Tijuana
Cassandra Rosen, Soltado Tequila
Makes 8-10 servings
• 12 cups watermelon, seeded and cubed (appx 4 lbs, depending on water content)
• ½ cup water*
• ¼ cup lime juice*
• 8 tbs simple syrup*
• 8 oz Soltado Tequila Picante
• Top soda
• Garnish: jalapenos, lime slices
• Glass: Collins
Add the watermelon, lime juice, simple syrup, and water to a blender, and puree gently. Press through a mesh strainer into a pitcher, cover and refrigerate at least two hours, or overnight.
American Apple Pie
Cassandra Rosen, Soltado Tequila
Serves 8-10
• 16 oz spiced apple cider
• 6 oz Soltado Tequila Picante
• 4 oz apple brandy or cognac
• 3 oz orange liqueur
• 4 oz ginger syrup
• Garnish: Thin apple slice and cinnamon stick
• Optional: vanilla ice cream float
Stir all ingredients in a punch bowl, garnish with apple slices and cinnamon. Serve over ice. Ice cream float optional.
Blue Ice Vodka Spritzer
- 1 Cup of Blue Ice Vodka
- 4 Limes
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1-liter club soda
- 1 Cup blueberries
- 1 Cup raspberries
- Ice
- 2 bottles Bai Limu Lemon
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 2 lemons
- Ice
- 8 oz vodka (optional)
Method
- Halve and hull strawberries and slice lemons. Place into pitcher and cover with ice. Add Limu Lemon, and stir gently to combine.
- Tip: If you’re adding vodka, try making ahead in a tupperware bowl with a cover. Set in the freezer for a few hours or overnight, and it will emerge slushy and refreshing.
