The grapes for this Bordeaux style blend come from the Robinson Family Vineyards located in southern Napa. Being in the cooler, southeast end of the valley means that the harvest of this fruit occurs several weeks later than up valley fruit. The cooler temperatures also help provide the true fruit characteristics of this wine.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, the nose is packed with rich fruit aromas of plum, blackberry, and currants, with accents of cedar, oak, and a hint of spring flowers. The palate is lively, as a robust mineral component carries plum and blackberry flavors into notes of oak and spice. Quite lively, pair it with full-flavored pastas or hearty red meat dishes for some balance.
