The estate Syrah vineyard was planted in 1992 and is located on the Silverado Trail in the Oak Knoll District. The split canopy maximizes the ripening of the fruit. Leaf removal, fruit thinning and dry farming are used to achieve the perfect maturity for these varietals.

The nose is brimming with lush cherry aromas, complimented by notes of clove, bacon, and earth. With a sip, ripe cherry and blackberry flavors move into accents of vanilla and smoky bacon. Smooth in its youth but possessing the structure to age, enjoy a bottle now, or cellar it for a few years.
