Winery founder David Stare was the first vintner to plant Sauvignon Blanc in the Dry Creek Valley in 1972. Since then, the winery has built its reputation on perfecting the varietal through their flagship wine, Fumé Blanc. Now, they introduce this new Sauvignon Blanc focused on expressing the distinctiveness of the Dry Creek appellation.

A good value for Sauvignon Blanc, it’s a very pleasant wine for about $12. The nose is inviting with aromas of peach nectar, grapefruit, melon, and a slight herby note. The palate is fairly crisp and clean with the peach, grapefruit, and melon returning. Enjoy a glass before dinner or paired with your favorite white fish.
