Beginning with the 1985 vintage, Dry Creek Vineyard was one of the first wineries to consistently use the term “Old Vine.” Old Vine Zinfandel comes from special vineyards ranging from 50 to over 100 years in age. Production is very limited as these vines typically yield only 1-2 tons per acre. Dry Creek is fortunate to be associated with these unique vineyards and are proud to share this wine.

This Zinfandel draws you in with a lush nose consisting of blackberry, raspberry, pepper, and herbs. A sip delivers ripe fruit flavors of cherry, raspberry, and blackberry that unfold into deeper pockets of licorice and black pepper. Well-balanced and quite smooth, enjoy this wine with a pulled-chicken sandwich or a slice of your favorite meat pizza.
