Red Rose Hill rises above a field of crimson rose bushes (just a small portion of our thousands of rose bushes), and Rancho Galante celebrates our beginnings as a cattle ranch, known as “Rancho Galante”.

A bold wine, it needs time and oxygen to settle down and fully express itself. After it’s calmed, the nose is highlighted by bright floral notes, coupled with raspberry and cherry aromas. Similar floral expressions dominate the palate, blending with flavors of cherry, raspberry, currants, and earth. The finish is very dry, with lingering tannins. Drink now with full-flavored red meat dishes or lay it down in the cellar for a few years to mellow.
