Sarah’s Vineyard lounges elegantly over a rocky knoll, relaxing across 20 hilly acres in a hidden southwestern corner of the Santa Clara Valley. Tucked at the eastern foot of Mount Madonna near a windy mountain pass, the dynamic coastal California weather patterns create a wonderful microclimate for growing premium wine grapes.

Review

Tucked away in the small town of Gilroy, the Syrah from Sarah’s Vineyard is a gem worth the drive. A lovely, layered nose of blackberry, cherry, bacon, a touch of pepper, and a bit of earth is captivating. Similar fruit character is evident on the palate, along with woodsy notes and black pepper. Good balance and plush tannins make for a very nice wine.
