Fragrances of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, and earthy spice rise up from a glass. The palate delivers flavors of cherry and blackberry that flow into hints of minerals and white pepper. With inviting fruit and cocoa tannins, a juicy lamb burger would make a fine companion.

Black cherries, plums, and currants mingle with suggestions of cocoa, earth, and spice on the nose. With a sip, flavors of black currant, plum, and cherry open up into nuances of smoky oak, dusty earth, and spice on the palate. Dark fruit and minerally highlights endear this wine to a rich, creamy pasta sauce.
