A bouquet of blackberries, bing cherry, leather, and earth greets the senses. Flavors of black and red berries meld with suggestions of earth, smokey cedar, and game on the palate. A fairly hearty Merlot, with plush tannins, if like Merlot but are not a fan of “fruit-bombs,” this is a bottle you might try.
