Our Cosecheiro is an estate-grown blend that derives its name from the Spanish cosechero, referring to the small, independent winegrowers of the Iberian Peninsula. The 2006 vintage is comprised of Tempranillo, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, and Tinto Cão sourced from our Y Ranch and Home Ranch vineyards in the San Antonio Valley. These components were fermented independently in small lots and aged in American, French, and Hungarian oak for 18 months.

The bottle is a blend of 48% Tempranillo, 42% Touriga, and 10% Tinto Cao. Swirling a glass opens up a layered nose of black cherry, plum jam, blackberry, coffee, and spices with a hint of floral aromas. The palate is a bit scaled back, as soft plum and cherry flavors unfold into notes of oak and springtime flowers.
